Strava
Popular among runners and cyclists. Syncs runs, rides, swims, and more.
Activities sync within minutes of being uploaded to Strava.
Garmin Connect
For Garmin watch and device users. Comprehensive health and activity data.
Includes step count from your Garmin device.
Fitbit
Syncs data from Fitbit trackers and smartwatches.
Great for step challenges with automatic step counting.
Apple Health
Aggregates data from Apple Watch and iPhone.
Requires the MoveWith iOS app or a connected third-party app.
Google Fit
Syncs data from Android devices and Wear OS watches.
Works with most Android fitness apps.

Troubleshooting
My activities are not syncing
- Make sure your fitness app is synced to its cloud service first (e.g., Strava, Garmin Connect)
- Try running /movewith sync to trigger a manual sync
- Check that your connection is still active in your dashboard
- Some apps may have a delay of up to 30 minutes
My steps aren't showing up
- Not all providers sync step data - Garmin, Fitbit, and Google Fit are best for steps
- Make sure you have step tracking enabled in your source app
- Steps sync once per day, usually overnight
- Apple Health requires a connected third-party app
Connection failed or expired
- Use /movewith disconnect then /movewith connect to reconnect
- Make sure you complete the authorization flow in the browser
- Check that pop-ups are not blocked
- Some providers require you to re-authorize periodically
Duplicate activities appearing
- This can happen if you use multiple apps that sync the same workout
- We try to detect duplicates, but it's not perfect
- Consider using only one fitness app as your primary source
- Contact support if you see persistent duplicates

We only access the activity data needed to power MoveWith challenges. We never access personal health information, and you can disconnect your apps at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
